Dear School of Engineering Postdocs,

The dean’s office in the School of Engineering has set up a website to assist current postdocs in the School with gaining visibility, especially on the academic job market. The site — http://engineeringphds.mit.edu — needs your input.

If you would like to be featured on the site, please visit https://engineeringphds.mit.edu/login, provide your MIT certificate credentials, and complete the form. The site organizes current, completing Ph.D. candidates and postdocs according to their host academic departments. To locate your profile properly on the site, please indicate where your sponsor or advisor has his primary academic appointment; if he or she has more than one, please indicate all that apply. All submissions to the site are moderated, so please give us a day or two after making a submission to respond to your request.

Once it is posted, your profile will be available as a URL that you can use from promotional purposes, e.g., http://engineeringphds.mit.edu/profile/christopher-amato. All profiles will remain live until next fall, when we will renew this process and update all of the site’s records.

Please feel free to promote yourselves and your accomplishments, and your upcoming availability to faculty and colleagues at other universities.

Best,

Chad Galts | Director of Communications | MIT School of Engineering | 617.253.9411
