Dr. Bilge Atasoy is presenting at the Postdoc Seminar Series on Febuary 11th. Her presentation is titled “Optimizing a flexible mobility on demand system”.
BIO: Dr. Bilge Atasoy has been a Postdoctoral Associate at MIT working with Prof. Moshe Ben-Akiva since December 2013. Prior to joining Intelligent Transportation Systems Laboratory at MIT, she obtained her PhD from Ecole Polytechnique Federale de Lausanne (EPFL), where she worked with Prof. Michel Bierlaire in TRANSP-OR Laboratory. She received her BSc. and MSc. degrees in Industrial Engineering from Bogazici University, Turkey. Her main research interests are transportation planning problems, application of operations research techniques in various areas, particularly transportation, and the integration of discrete choice models and optimization problems.
