Guest Bio: Dr. Rajesh Jugulum works at CIGNA as Global Director where he leads and coordinates enterprise data roadmap activities by focusing on maximizing returns on investment from key data-intensive programs. Dr. Rajesh designs and develops methods for integrating data science with analytics and business intelligence to ensure high-quality business decisions with high-quality data and metrics.
He integrates data science with re-engineering and operational excellence disciplines to improve the processes, reduce waste and maximize productivity.
Besides working in the industry, he also works closely with academia being an Adjunct Professor at Northeastern University.
He started working as a professional data scientist for data quality after completing his postdoctoral at MIT.
He is a former Senior Vice President for Bank of America and Citi Group.
