The International Scholars Office (IschO) is excited to invite international Postdocs to a “Meet your Advisor” drop-in hour for ISchO advisors on Wednesday, March 12 from 10am – 11am. Coffee and light refreshments will be served. See the flyer here for more details.
We will spend the first 20 minutes discussing some frequently asked questions by our scholar community, listed below, and answers to pre-submitted questions. If you have a question to submit please email ischo@mit.edu by March 7 and put “Meet your Advisor Q&A” in the subject line. Please note: we cannot provide in-depth individual advising during this event.
Frequently asked questions may include:
- How does ISchO work with DLCIs to make decisions on visa types?
- What if I want to travel internationally during my change of visa status/extension of stay?
- Should I carry my visa documents with me all of the time?
- When do I need to notify ISchO of any changes to my appointment?
- Can I work remotely while traveling outside of the US?
