In 2021, the PDA with approval from the Office of the Vice President for Research created a new type of group at MIT, a ‘Recognized Postdoc Group’. These groups are supported by the PDA, but maintain their own activities. These groups are intended to provide more targeted support for postdocs without needing to exist separate of the Postdoctoral Association.  The groups supported here existed prior to official recognition in 2021, but new groups could be added. If you would like to learn more about Recognized Postdoc Groups and creating a new group, please refer to the PDA Bylaws.

Additional resources for postdocs are available from the National Postdoc Association (NPA).
