The PDA invites you to a Long Winter Hike in the Blue Hills Reservation on Sunday, January 26th. This is a great opportunity to stay active, enjoy the snow, and meet other Postdocs.
After our Fall Hike, many wanted to explore the Blue Hills Reservation further. This Hike will be a seven-hour roundtrip on the Skyline Trail through the Blue Hills. We will meet at Quincy Adams Red Line Station, and the PDA will organize transportation to the trailhead and back, as well as snacks for the hike.
- Date: Sunday, January. 26th, 9 a.m.
- Requirements: Good Fitness, Food, and Water for ~ 7 hours of hiking. Expect Mud or Snow and changing weather conditions.
- Meet at: Quincy Adams Red Line Station
- Hike Location: Blue Hills Reservation, Parking: 695-821 Hillside St, Canton, MA 02021
- Transport: Public Transport, Ubers. Individual travel to the hike location is optional. If you plan to arrive by car and have free seats, please meet us at Quincy Adams to relieve some of the costs for Ubers.
- Total duration: ~ 9 am – 6 pm
This event is for postdocs only and has a limited capacity due to costs for transport and snacks. You will receive a confirmation by Thursday, the 23rd of January, if we can accommodate you.
