Dear Postdocs,

The PDA and MIT Sloan are delighted to invite you to exchange knowledge with the Executive MBA Class of 2014 at IDEA Week.
MIT Sloan
IDEA (Innovation-Driven Entrepreneurial Advantage) is a class for MBAs which introduces them to the Cambridge/MA Innovation-Driven Entrepreneurial ecosystem and how it functions. The scientific community is clearly an essential part of this ecosystem and we would like to bring MBAs and Scientists together in two networking events. This will give you the opportunity to make a personal connection with highly placed executives from firms like Biogen, Novartis, Raytheon, Monsanto, GE, Twitter, VMware, etc (this is what EMBAs are).
Here is the proposed exchange:
1 – Host a MBA student for a lab tour next Wednesday March 20 (not 27) anytime between 4:30 and 6pmWe will leave it up to you how you want to structure your tour and how long you want it to be.Talk about your research, technology, your dog, anything really…
2 – In exchange you will be invited to a Sloan networking event. The reception will take place on Friday March 22nd from 7:30-9:30 pm, in building E52, on the 6th floor at the Sloan Faculty Club. Then you can talk about startups, business, entrepreneurship, your dog…
If you are interested, please RSVP by filling out this form by Monday 18th 12pm.
Space is limited to 30. First come, first served.
The MBA students will choose a postdoc based on their interest.
