MIT Startup Tech Talk

The event is jointly organized by MIT-PDA Professional Development Committee and MIT Alumni Angels Boston. We’d like to thank our event sponsor Wolf Greenfielda leading intellectual property law firm based in Boston.

We will feature a line-up of exciting MIT-affiliated startups working on cutting edge solutions to real world problems. The companies will give an overview of their business and discuss how they are applying innovative technologies to their problem space. The theme of this event will be AI/big data/machine learning and computational biology.

PathAI – PathAI is the leading provider of AI-powered technology for the pathology laboratory, using advanced machine learning to assist pathologists in making accurate diagnoses.

Uplevel Security – Uplevel is the first intelligent cybersecurity system powered by graph-based machine learning, enabling rapid and comprehensive response to complex security attacks.

TVision Insights – TVision uses machine vision to measure TV viewer engagement (actual eyes on screen), providing second-by-second insight into the effectiveness of TV programming and advertising.

MIT Alumni Angels was formed in 2014 in partnership with the MIT Alumni Association.  Our mission is to support early stage startups with capital and expertise curated across the MIT alumni base, with focus on (but not limited to) MIT-affiliated startups.  The organization spans 3 regional chapters (BostonNew YorkBay Area) as well as a life sciences chapter, with over 700 investor members in total that include angels and institutions.
