The PDA and MIT Sloan are delighted to invite you to exchange knowledge with the class of the Sloan Fellows at IDEA Week.
IDEA (Innovation-Driven Entrepreneurial Advantage) is a class for MBAs which introduces them to the Cambridge/MA Innovation-Driven Entrepreneurial ecosystem and how it functions. The scientific community is clearly an essential part of this ecosystem and we would like to bring MBAs and Scientists together in two networking events. This will give you the opportunity to make a personal connection with highly placed executives from firms like Boeing, Saudi Aramco, Restoration Robotics, Johnson and Johnson, Dell, General Electric, LG Electronics, Biogen Idec, Mitsubishi, IBM, Samsung, NTT, Docomo, etc (These are the executives from large companies that are taking a year off to complete an intensive 12 month residential MBA program)
Here is the proposed exchange:
1 – Host a MBA student for a lab tour next Wednesday 26th of June anytime between 1:45 and 2:45 pm. We will leave it up to you how you want to structure your tour and how long you want it to be. Talk about your research, technology, your dog, anything really…
2 – In exchange you will be invited to a Sloan networking event the same day. More details on the reception TBA.
Space is limited to 30. First come, first served.
The MBA students will choose a postdoc based on their interest.
