The PDA’s Community Building Committee is creating a new seminar series for casual presentation and discussion of research among colleagues. We would like your input so that we can make this club as beneficial as possible for everyone involved. If you are interested, please take some time in the next week to respond to this survey.
The rough plan for the club meetings is to have a few short presentations by postdocs accompanied by some food/beverages. There will be time for discussion and socializing between and after the presentations. The main goals are for postdocs at MIT to learn about their colleague’s research directly from them and to meet others within the community. This would also provide an opportunity for postdocs to practice speaking, receive feedback about their projects, find collaborations, and make new friends.
